What started in a basement has blossomed into one of Sidney’s newest and most stylish retail ventures. Rustic Revival, owned and operated by Carissa LeFurgey, officially opened its doors in early 2025, offering custom apparel and curated fashion finds to the community.
LeFurgey first dipped her toes into the business world in 2023, designing and printing t-shirts from home. When local boutique Meraki closed its doors, she seized the opportunity to purchase its remaining inventory—giving birth to Rustic Revival.
Like many new entrepreneurs, LeFurgey faced her share of early challenges. “Not being familiar with what customer demands were when opening was tough,” she admits. “But keeping up with current trends has really helped.”
A typical day for LeFurgey is anything but quiet. From stocking new merchandise and creating promotional content for social media, to designing custom orders and training new employees, she wears many hats. “I’m always busy, but I love it,” she says.
Looking ahead, LeFurgey is excited about several new initiatives. Rustic Revival will soon begin offering custom apparel parties for both adults and children. The business also plans to host pop-up sidewalk sales throughout the summer and expand its men’s clothing section.
With creativity, adaptability, and a passion for fashion, Rustic Revival is quickly becoming a staple in Sidney’s downtown scene.
