This year Reynolds Market is celebrating 100 years serving the communities of Sidney, Baker, Glasgow, and Glendive. Since its opening in 1925, Reynolds Market has been more than a grocery store. It has been a local landmark, a place where neighbors meet, and the heart of the community can be felt. What truly sets Reynolds Market apart is the role it plays in the lives of its customers. Whether it’s sponsoring youth sports teams, supporting local schools, contributing to fundraisers, or organizing cherished traditions like holiday food drives and visits from Santa, Reynolds has consistently shown up for its communities, not just as a business, but as a neighbor.
To mark this incredible milestone here is Sidney, the activities will start on August 8th at the Elks Lodge. A rare live performance from Sidney’s own historic band Rojo 5 will take the stage at 8:00pm and is open to the public. The following day, August 9th, Reynolds is hosting a full-blown celebration, and the entire community is invited. The festivities will kick off at 9:00 a.m. Free coffee and donuts will start the day and at 10:00am there will be a flag-raising ceremony honoring the store and the people who have made its success possible. Throughout the day, shoppers can take advantage of a special one-day sale and with exciting giveaways, including a Mountain Dew 4-Wheeler, a Blackstone Griddle, Ultimate Sportsman Package, and more! From 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the celebration will continue with a Parking Lot Party with local food trucks and family-friendly fun, including a bounce house and carnival games. A highlight of the day will be the “Business by Kids” event, organized in partnership with the Sidney Chamber of Commerce. From noon to 4:00 p.m., local youth can register prior to the event and set up booths to sell handmade crafts and homemade goods. With multiple prize categories sponsored by Reynolds Market, young entrepreneurs will be sure to have some fun. There will be live music from the band Shakedown Country starting at 7:00pm with a bar provided by the Ranger Lounge & Casino.
