Annie Oakley is a nonprofit animal rescue located in Eastern Mt . The services we offer include rescuing animals in life or death situations, care for and vet all our rescues. We also assist the community on working to control the stray population. When an animal’s life is on the line in Eastern Montana, Annie Oakley Animal Rescue answers the call. We rescue, vet, and fight for every single one — until they find the home they deserve.

Emmaus House is a House of Prayer and Hospitality within the Roman Catholic Church, with the support of Bishop Michael Warfel of the Diocese of Great Falls/Billings. 

Emmaus House is based on the Gospel of Luke 24:13-35. We, like the disciples, meet Jesus and welcome the “stranger” with hospitality and spiritual food for their journey. 

All are welcome in this house of prayer and hospitality.

Who Are We?

Sr. Regina Murray, MSW and Sr. Rita Rauschendorfer, MS in Pastoral Counseling are both also certified in the Grief Recovery Method and Emotional Focused Therapy. The Sisters have been steeped in Benedictine Spirituality and are trained in Spiritual Direction with over 40 years of combined experience.

When the Foundation for Community Care was organized in 1983, the founders envisioned a community where everyone had access to local, high-quality healthcare. Over 40 years later our mission has never wavered, but instead has become even more focused on ensuring the continuance and quality of local health and medical care.

The Learning Volunteers for Adults-Richland County, a non-profit organization helping adults meet literacy and learning goals.

Welcome to Richland LVA, otherwise known as Learning Volunteers for Adults!
Our mission is to support adult learners in reaching their educational goals through free, personalized tutoring and learning assistance. Whether you’re looking to improve your reading or math skills, prepare for the HiSET or GED test, learn English as a second language, or simply build confidence in everyday learning, we’re here to help. We have volunteers that offer one-on-one support tailored to your needs, creating a friendly and encouraging environment for adults of all backgrounds and skill levels. Let us help you take the next step in your learning journey!

​Richland County cares about its senior citizens. To the left, you will find links to some helpful services that enable seniors to remain living a quality life, independently, for as long as possible.

The Richland County Commission on Aging has a number of programs that range from nutrition, health and wellness, socialization and homemaking services. 

The RCCOA is funded by federal and state grants, county funds, and generous local contributions. All programs are open to seniors age 60 and over, regardless of income level.

Richland County Communities in Action has been in place for over a decade, working through Action Groups to address community needs and build a healthy community.

Richland County Communities in Action began to unite community efforts and to increase the quality of life in Richland County. This program and its Action Groups envision Richland County as being a healthy, clean and safe place for families and individuals to grow.

The people who make up these Action Groups come from diverse backgrounds all working together on a shared goal. New members are always welcome.

Sunrise Clinic is a pregnancy resource center in Sidney, Montana. The clinic provides honest and accurate information on an array of subjects including pregnancy symptoms, pregnancy options, STD’s, and sexual health. Our services are free and confidential in a non-judgmental setting. Our services include pregnancy testing and verification, ultrasounds up to 20 weeks, post miscarriage and stillborn counseling, Earn While You Learn classes as well as a Baby Boutique.
