Emmaus House is based on the Gospel of Luke 24:13-35. We, like the disciples, meet Jesus and welcome the “stranger” with hospitality and spiritual food for their journey. 
All are welcome in this house of prayer and hospitality.

Who Are We?

Sr. Regina Murray, MSW and Sr. Rita Rauschendorfer, MS in Pastoral Counseling are both also certified in the Grief Recovery Method and Emotional Focused Therapy. The Sisters have been steeped in Benedictine Spirituality and are trained in Spiritual Direction with over 40 years of combined experience.

The Richland County Commission on Aging has a number of programs that range from nutrition, health and wellness, socialization and homemaking services. 

The RCCOA is funded by federal and state grants, county funds, and generous local contributions. All programs are open to seniors age 60 and over, regardless of income level.
