Jeab’s Thai Food began in 2019 as a small food truck in Williston, North Dakota. Founded by Mama Jeab, who has been living in the United States for over twenty years, our journey started with a simple passion—sharing the true flavors of Thai cuisine with our community. Starting as a small taco stand in Cheyenne, WY back in 1969, our one-of-a-kind tacos and other bold flavors were an instant hit in the community. Two local businessmen wanted to share these unique flavors with the world. So, they purchased the franchise rights in 1969 and named the restaurant after the man who started it all – John.

Located on the corner of Holly and Central Ave, The Coffee Stop is a small, family-owned coffee shop that has quickly become a local favorite. Purchased in March of 2020 by Rich and Linda Gorde, the shop was once known as the Silver Junction, but under their ownership, it has evolved into something truly special. With a welcoming atmosphere and a menu full of delicious offerings, The Coffee Stop has established itself as a cornerstone of the Sidney community.

The Gorde family takes great pride in their business, which is very much a family affair. Both of their daughters, Madison and Makena, work at the shop, keeping the family legacy of service and dedication. Even before Rich and Linda took over ownership, one of their daughters was involved in the business, and over the years, the family has worked hard to evolve and grow.

“We have added products and improved over the years,” says Linda, reflecting on the journey of the shop. “We are proud of our menu and always aim to be accommodating to the community. Whether it’s a large order for a meeting or an event, we make sure to go in early and provide great service with a smile.”

Today, The Coffee Stop is run by a dedicated team of six employees who feel more like family than staff. It’s clear that the Gorde family values relationships – both with their employees and their customers. “The best thing about doing business in Sidney is the people. We have really good customers that we’ve gotten to know, and it’s definitely nice to live in a small town where we can get to know each other,” Linda shares.

Looking ahead, The Coffee Stop plans to continue improving its service and products, always open to ideas and feedback from the community. The Gordes believe that staying in touch with their customers and adapting to their needs is key to running a successful business.

The Rush Espresso has been the ride of a lifetime for the Garza family. Starting with an idea born on a family road trip “rushing” to a beanie baby sale in Denver to over 20 years later in a new building serving 200 customers a day. Did we ever imagine The Rush would be what it is today? I can’t say for sure but I do know we love serving this community.
