Lone Tree Archers is a non-profit recreational group based in Sidney, Montana. It was established in 1956. Originally it was call Sidney Bowhunters Club, but the name was later changed to Lone Tree Archers.
The Club is a family-orientated organization, and it’s purpose is to provide a safe location for archers of all ages to learn, practice, enhance their archery skills, and promote bow hunting and the sport of archery.
The club maintains a 40-acre archery range located East of Sidney in the badlands overlooking the Yellowstone River. Our facilities includes a club house, a handicap-accessible outdoor restroom, and parking area. The range is open to members daily during daylight hours. (47.704888, -104.077981)
The shooting range is set up with 22 targets which are left our year round. Most of these are Pacific Bow Butts with Duramesh target faces. During special events and shoots, we set out 3-D animal targets.
Membership in the club is on an annual basis. Individual membership fee is $40 and a family membership is $60. Members are allowed access to the archery range and other club activities such as our weekly “Club Nights” in the summer
