Esprit Health Clinic & MediSpa has recently celebrated a major milestone: 10 years of serving the eastern Montana and western North Dakota communities with innovative, patient-centered care. Founded in 2014 by Michelle Trudell, MSN, APRN, CNP, Esprit began with a vision to meet the growing need for primary care in rural and frontier regions—and has grown into a trusted name in holistic health and wellness.
Reflecting on the past decade, Trudell shares, “My heart is full—filled with gratitude and hope. It hasn’t been perfect, but persistence, resilience, and the support of an incredible community helped Esprit not just survive, but thrive.”
Over the years, Esprit has expanded services to include hormone optimization, aesthetics, weight loss, and MediSpa treatments such as Botox and body sculpting. The clinic also made bold moves, including transitioning away from the traditional insurance model and offering Direct Primary Care and Concierge Medicine.
Despite challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic, Esprit retained all staff, introduced Telehealth services, and most recently opened a second clinic in Billings in 2024.
The clinic’s unique approach is grounded in the nursing model of care, emphasizing empowerment, individualized treatment, and a “Labs, Listen, Live” philosophy to help patients restore vitality and confidence.
As for the future, Trudell hopes to continue growing the Esprit brand while staying rooted in its mission and values. “We want to serve well, lead with love, and train up the next generation of healthcare leaders,” she says.
After a decade of impact and innovation, Esprit stands as a beacon of holistic care and community spirit—true to its name, which means “spirit” in French.
