Jamie Larson
Insurance Agent, Seitz Insurance
When it comes to community commitment, Jamie Larson sets the bar high. Whether serving as the fair manager of the Richland County Fair for 16 years, guiding insurance clients with the utmost care, or dedicating countless hours to local boards and councils, Jamie exemplifies service and leadership in every role she takes on.
After nearly two decades at the helm of one of the region’s most cherished annual events, Jamie shifted her focus full-time to the insurance industry. Now a trusted agent at Seitz Insurance, she recently earned the prestigious Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, an achievement that reflects her drive for excellence and lifelong learning. “There are continual updates in the insurance business that enable me professionally to further my education and growth,” Jamie says. It’s this relentless pursuit of growth that sets her apart, not only in her career but in every facet of her life.
Jamie’s professional story began in Billings, where she earned her associate’s degree and obtained her insurance license. It was a college professor who first encouraged her to pursue insurance, and after gaining experience in the industry, she returned to her hometown of Sidney in 2006. There, she led the Richland County Fair to new heights before re-entering the insurance field with renewed energy and a strong support network of mentors.
Her impact, however, stretches far beyond any single job title. Jamie is an energetic community leader whose fingerprints are all over Sidney’s continued growth. She serves or has served on the Richland County Boys and Girls Club board, the Cemetery Board, the Sidney Area Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis, the Growth Policy Steering Committee, and as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Most recently, she was elected as an alderwoman on the Sidney City Council, a role she embraces with purpose.
A graduate of Leadership Montana, Jamie brings vision and persistence to every initiative she touches. Her leadership style is grounded in collaboration, fueled by her desire to build a stronger, more connected community.
Despite her full calendar, Jamie remains grounded in what matters most: her family and her roots. She raised daughter Serenity in the same town where Jamie herself grew up and graduated from Sidney High School. In her free time, Jamie enjoys the simple joys, lake days in the summer, a compelling podcast, the warm nostalgia of Hallmark holiday movies, and training for her next race. These moments of rest and recharge only serve to fuel her boundless energy for the work that lies ahead.
When asked what accomplishment she’s most proud of, Jamie doesn’t hesitate: “Managing and overseeing the Richland County Fair for 15 successful years and most recently obtaining my CIC designation.” But for those who know her, it’s the unquantifiable moments, the phone calls answered after hours, the time devoted to mentorship, the tireless efforts behind the scenes, that define her most. Jamie Larson is a spirit that keeps moving Sidney forward.
